The 2025 Coats for Kids drive was a huge success. Along with the Highline Schools Foundation, we collected over 800 coats for students in Highline Public Schools.  We were able to further support the community by donating coats to the Des Moines Food Bank, Pregnancy Aid, and the Des Moines Police Foundation, as well as assisting with coat drives for a couple of other organizations.

Many thanks to everyone who donated coats, hosted collection bins, and sorted and bagged coats for delivery. What a great community this is!

Special thanks to Local 32 Plumbers and Pipefitters for their generous financial support, to Rotary Club Member Sandy Bohman, who worked tirelessly for weeks to help collect and sort coats, and to Todd and Michelle at The Print Place for allowing us the space to store and sort the coats.  We could not have done this without you!
