DESCRIPTION:Our speaker is Des Moines Assistant Police Chief Cory Stanton\, who joined the Des Moines Police Department in September 2024\, bringing more than 20 years of law enforcement experience\, including 19 years with the King County Sheriff’s Office. Throughout his career\, he has served in patrol\, training\, recruiting\, media relations\, and command-level leadership roles. \nCory is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico\, Virginia — a nationally recognized leadership program that brings together senior law enforcement leaders from across the United States and around the world.
