Our club welcomed three new members in December.

Iris Lemmer is retired organizational change consultant with over 40 years of experience in leadership development and large-scale transformational change. Her first 30 years were spent at Fortune 100 companies, including Kraft Foods and Microsoft, followed by 15 years as a consultant in the oil, gas, and utilitiy industry.

Now retired, Iris is a mentor to aging-out foster youth and other at-risk young people. She is also passionate about arts, music and creative culture, supporting local artists and building opportunities for multi-generational creative expression. She is a member of the Homelessness and Reckoning with Racism task forces at her church.

Linda Houser is a lifelong Washingtonian who spent 37 years at Boeing, retiring from Sales & Marketing with responsibility for the China region. Her career took her throughout China, building extensive international experience, and she earned two master’s degrees through Boeing’s tuition reimbursement program.

After retiring, she worked part-time for Parsons Corporation on an FAA contract before fully retiring in August 2025. An avid traveler, Linda has been a Road Scholar Ambassador since 2021 and has participated in 12 programs in the U.S. and abroad.

 

Laird Vernon is a principal program manager for Reply, a company that specializes in information technology consulting, system integration and digital services. Previously, he worked at Microsoft, Starbucks and Safeco Insurance in business, operations and financial management roles. He holds a BA in economics and a MS in Finance.
Laird is a triathlete. He loves traveling and being involved in his community.
