About Our Club
Who We Are
The Rotary Club of Des Moines & Normandy Park is an association of men and women making our community and our world a better place to live, learn, work and play. We meet weekly to socialize and learn about needs and issues. We span a range of ages, occupations, backgrounds and ethnicities. All who live or work in Des Moines and Normandy Park are welcome.
Our History
Our club was established on February 20, 1958. Since then, we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support our community and fund projects around the globe.
We are known as a friendly club that has fun together as we volunteer in our community.
We may be best known for our annual Poverty Bay Blues & Brews Festival, a popular community event that raises funds to support our projects.
